It delivers a bold kick without overwhelming the flavor of your food.

You can adjust the heat level to match your preference.

It works as a dip, spread, drizzle, or marinade.

It stores beautifully, making it perfect for meal prep.

How Spicy Is Spicy Shut Yo Mouth Sauce?

The heat level is medium-hot as written, thanks to cayenne pepper and crushed red pepper flakes. The creamy base softens the intensity, but the warmth lingers pleasantly.

If you prefer it milder, reduce the cayenne pepper by half. If you want it hotter, add an extra ¼ teaspoon cayenne or a splash of hot sauce.

How To Make the Spicy Shut Yo Mouth Sauce

Step 1: Combine the Creamy Base

In a medium mixing bowl, add 1 cup mayonnaise and ½ cup sour cream. Whisk until completely smooth and lump-free.

Step 2: Add the Heat

Stir in 2 tablespoons hot sauce, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, and 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes. Mix thoroughly so the spices distribute evenly.

Add 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and ½ teaspoon salt. Whisk again until fully combined.

Step 4: Chill for Best Flavor
