Description

This Blueberry Muffin Dirty Soda is a quick breakfast-inspired drink that feels like a bakery treat in a glass. Made with blueberry syrup, fizzy lemon-lime soda, cream, ice, and a buttery muffin crumble, it is an easy recipe for brunch, summer sipping, fun food ideas, sweet drink ideas, and a healthy snack-style treat when you want something fruity, creamy, and refreshing.

Ingredients

1 cup lemon-lime soda

3 tablespoons blueberry syrup

2 tablespoons half-and-half

1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup ice

2 tablespoons fresh blueberries

2 tablespoons blueberry muffin crumble

Instructions

1. Add the blueberry syrup and vanilla extract to the bottom of a tall glass.

2. Fill the glass with ice.

3. Slowly pour the lemon-lime soda over the ice.

4. Gently pour the half-and-half over the top to create a creamy swirl.

5. Top with fresh blueberries and blueberry muffin crumble.

6. Stir lightly before drinking, or serve as-is for a layered look.

Notes

Do not pour the cream too fast, or the soda can lose some of its fizz and the pretty layered swirl will disappear too quickly.
