Ingredients
16 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 large egg
1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)
0.5 cup powdered sugar (for glaze, optional)
1 tablespoon milk (for glaze, optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. If using uncooked sausage links, cook them as directed and let cool.
3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise, making 16 skinny triangles.
4. Place a sausage link at the wide end of each triangle, roll up, and arrange seam-side down on baking sheet.
5. Whisk together 1 egg and 1 tablespoon milk. Brush rolls with egg wash.
6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
7. For the optional glaze: Mix 0.5 cup powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon milk until smooth. Drizzle over rolls before serving.
Notes
For a cheesy twist, add a thin strip of cheddar inside before rolling.
These can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
For crispier results, bake on a wire rack set over your baking sheet.
