Description

These Candy Cane Brownie Bombs are a rich, festive dessert with fudgy chocolate brownie, a creamy sweet center, silky white chocolate drizzle, and crunchy peppermint on top. They are perfect for Christmas dessert trays, holiday parties, easy recipe planning, dessert ideas, food ideas, and make-ahead treats when you want a simple but impressive holiday sweet.

Ingredients

1 box brownie mix

2 large eggs

1/3 cup vegetable oil

3 tablespoons water

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 teaspoon coconut oil

3 candy canes, crushed

Instructions

1. Prepare the brownie mix with the eggs, vegetable oil, and water according to the package directions. Spread the batter into a lined or greased pan and bake until just set.

2. Let the brownies cool completely, then beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

3. Crumble the cooled brownies into a large bowl.

4. Scoop a small amount of cream cheese filling and roll it into little portions.

5. Take a handful of brownie crumbs, flatten them slightly, place the filling in the center, and wrap the brownie around it to form a ball or dome.

6. Place the shaped brownie bombs on a lined tray and chill until firm.

7. Melt the white chocolate chips with the coconut oil until smooth.

8. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over each brownie bomb.

9. Sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top while the chocolate is still soft.

10. Chill briefly to set, then serve.

Notes

Do not overbake the brownies, because a soft fudgy texture is what helps the Candy Cane Brownie Bombs stay moist and easy to shape around the filling.
