Description

This Caramel Apple Dip is a quick dessert and easy party snack that’s always a hit! Creamy, tangy, and sweet with a luscious caramel topping and crunchy toffee or nut garnish, it’s perfect for apple slices, cookies, or pretzels. Great for gatherings, easy entertaining, and last-minute treat ideas. If you’re looking for food ideas for your next party, easy recipes for fall, or kid-friendly snacks, you’ll love this one!

Ingredients

227g cream cheese (softened)

60g brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

180ml caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling if desired)

50g toffee bits or chopped nuts

34 medium apples (sliced)

cookies, graham crackers, or pretzels for serving

Instructions

1. Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

2. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.

3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of a shallow serving dish.

4. Warm the caramel sauce slightly until pourable, then pour over the cream cheese layer and spread gently to the edges.

5. Sprinkle with toffee bits or chopped nuts for crunch.

6. Arrange apple slices, cookies, and other dippers around the dish.

7. Serve immediately, or refrigerate (covered) for up to 24 hours. Slice apples just before serving to prevent browning.

Notes

For best flavor, use tart apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp to balance the sweet caramel.

If making ahead, cover and refrigerate the dip, and slice apples just before serving to keep them fresh.

For a nut-free option, use toffee bits or mini chocolate chips instead of nuts.
