Ingredients

8 small taco shells (homemade, store-bought, or cannoli shells)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips, plus extra for garnish

1/2 cup edible chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/3 cup chocolate syrup or melted chocolate, for drizzling

1/3 cup crushed chocolate cookies (Oreos or similar), for topping

Instructions

1. Prepare the taco shells: If using homemade, brush small flour tortillas with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and bake over oven rack bars at 375°F (190°C) for 7–9 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool completely.

2. Make the cheesecake filling: In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat until fluffy. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently until fully incorporated.

3. Assemble the tacos: Spread about 1 tablespoon of edible cookie dough inside each taco shell. Pipe or spoon cheesecake filling generously over the cookie dough layer. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.

4. Garnish and serve: Drizzle each taco with chocolate syrup or melted chocolate. Sprinkle with crushed chocolate cookies and extra mini chocolate chips. Serve immediately, or refrigerate up to 24 hours.

Notes

For best texture, assemble tacos just before serving so shells stay crisp.

Homemade edible cookie dough: Use heat-treated flour and skip eggs for safe eating.

You can substitute gluten-free shells and cookie dough for a gluten-free dessert taco.
