Description
Wake up to a bright, creamy breakfast that tastes like a nostalgic orange creamsicle in every spoonful. These Easy Orange Creamsicle Overnight Oats are a quick breakfast, easy recipe, and one of my favorite breakfast ideas for busy mornings when I want something refreshing, satisfying, and ready straight from the fridge. With rolled oats, orange juice, Greek yogurt, and vanilla, this make-ahead breakfast turns simple food ideas into a healthy snack or easy breakfast that feels a little special.
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1/4 cup granola, optional for topping
1/4 cup orange segments, optional for topping
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl or jar, whisk together the milk, Greek yogurt, orange juice, orange zest, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
2. Stir in the rolled oats and chia seeds until everything is fully combined.
3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until the oats are soft and creamy.
4. Stir well before serving and add a splash of milk if you want a looser texture.
5. Top with granola and orange segments if desired, then serve cold.
Notes
Do not add too much orange juice without enough yogurt or milk, or the oats can turn out thinner and more tart than creamy.
