If you love food ideas that come together fast, this salad will be a new favorite.

Ingredients

2 cups chopped Granny Smith apples

2 cups chopped Honeycrisp or Fuji apples

1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

1 cup cold milk

2 cups whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

4 full-size Snickers bars, chopped

1/2 cup toasted pecans, chopped (optional)

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (optional)

Instructions

1. Wash, core, and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces. Leave skin on for extra color and crunch if you like.

2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let sit for 2 minutes to thicken.

3. Gently fold whipped topping into the pudding mixture until fully combined.

4. Add the chopped apples and chopped Snickers bars to the bowl. Gently mix everything together until well distributed.

5. Transfer the salad to a serving bowl. Top with toasted pecans and a drizzle of chocolate syrup if using.

6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let the flavors blend.

Notes

For the best texture, use crisp apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.

For lighter salad, use sugar-free pudding and light whipped topping.

Toss apples with a little lemon juice before mixing to prevent browning if making ahead.
