Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough or 1 sheet homemade pizza dough

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ small onion, finely diced (optional)

¾ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon burger seasoning or smoked paprika (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat. Add the diced onion (if using), salt, pepper, and burger seasoning. Sauté for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

3. Roll the pizza dough out on a floured surface into a rectangle about ¼-inch thick.

4. Evenly spread the beef mixture over the dough, leaving a small border along the edges. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.

5. Starting at a long edge, roll the dough up tightly into a log. Slice the log into 1.5-inch thick pieces.

6. Place the rollups cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

7. Mix melted butter and minced garlic, then brush the tops of the rollups with the garlic butter.

8. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.

9. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t overfill the dough or it may burst open while baking—spread the beef and cheese evenly and roll tightly.

For extra flavor, add a few pickle slices or cooked bacon to the filling before rolling.

Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven or air fryer to keep them crispy.
