Ingredients

24 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreos)

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup powdered sugar

1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

1 1/2 cups whipped topping (plus extra for topping)

1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix (optional)

Assorted Halloween candies and decorations

Instructions

1. Place chocolate sandwich cookies in a zip-top bag and crush into fine crumbs using a rolling pin.

2. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.

3. Add instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk to the cream cheese mixture; beat until thick and creamy.

4. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the filling is light and fluffy.

5. If using, prepare the instant chocolate pudding mix according to package directions.

6. To assemble, layer crushed cookies on the bottom of each cup, followed by a layer of cream cheese filling, then a layer of chocolate pudding (if using), and more crushed cookies. Repeat layers if desired, finishing with a top layer of cookie crumbs.

7. Decorate each cup with Halloween candies, cookie tombstones, candy pumpkins, or edible eyes. Pipe or dollop extra whipped topping for added fun.

8. Chill cups in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For best results, assemble cups the same day you plan to serve for the freshest cookie crunch.

Make it gluten-free by using gluten-free sandwich cookies.

Add gummy worms, mini marshmallows, or any fun Halloween candies for extra spooky flair!
