Description
This High-Protein Cottage Cheese Ninja Creami Ice Cream is a creamy, easy recipe that turns simple ingredients into a cold and satisfying treat. It is perfect when I want a healthy snack, quick breakfast-style protein boost, easy dessert, or fun food idea to keep in the freezer for busy days.
Ingredients
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon sprinkles or mini chocolate chips, optional
Instructions
1. Add the cottage cheese, milk, vanilla protein powder, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and salt to a blender and blend until completely smooth.
2. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and smooth the top.
3. Freeze on a level surface for at least 24 hours, or until fully solid.
4. Process the pint using the Lite Ice Cream setting.
5. If the texture looks crumbly, add 1 to 2 tablespoons milk and run the Re-Spin cycle.
6. Add sprinkles or mini chocolate chips if using, process on the Mix-In setting, and serve right away.
Notes
Do not skip blending the base until completely smooth, because any remaining cottage cheese curds can affect the final texture.
