Description

Experience the ultimate Homemade Guacamole—creamy, fresh, and full of flavor! This quick and easy recipe makes the perfect healthy snack, party appetizer, or side for taco night. It’s loaded with ripe avocados, zesty lime, fresh cilantro, and just the right amount of spice. Great for anyone looking for easy dinner ideas, healthy snacks, or quick recipes to impress guests. Enjoy it with chips, toast, or on your favorite dinner ideas. Guacamole is gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

2 large ripe avocados

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

12 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)

1 small jalapeño or serrano pepper, seeded and finely chopped (optional)

1 small Roma tomato, seeded and diced (optional)

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (more to taste)

Instructions

1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.

2. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocado until mostly smooth or chunky, depending on your preference.

3. Add the chopped red onion, cilantro, jalapeño (if using), tomato (if using), lime juice, and salt to the mashed avocado.

4. Stir gently to combine all ingredients evenly.

5. Taste and adjust with more salt or lime juice as desired.

6. Serve immediately with chips or your favorite dishes, or cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

Notes

For the freshest flavor, serve guacamole right after making it—avocados can brown quickly.

If storing, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to minimize browning.

Adjust the amount of lime, salt, and jalapeño to match your taste or spice preference.
