Description

Homemade Gummies are a fun, chewy treat made with just fruit juice, unflavored gelatin, and a touch of natural sweetener. They’re quick to make, easy to customize with your favorite juices, and perfect for lunchboxes, snack boards, or a healthy, kid-friendly snack. With no artificial colors or flavors, this easy recipe is a great homemade candy option for parties, gifting, or whenever you need a simple, sweet food idea. Try these gummies for a quick breakfast on the go, a healthy snack, or a playful dessert—endless possibilities!

Ingredients

1 cup fruit juice

3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder (or 3 packets)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (or up to 3 tablespoons, to taste)

1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

1 pinch salt

Instructions

1. Prepare your silicone gummy molds by setting them on a tray for easy transport.

2. Pour 1 cup fruit juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin evenly over the juice and let sit for 5 minutes to bloom.

3. Place the pan over low heat. Stir until the gelatin is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and clear, about 2–3 minutes. Do not boil.

4. Add 2–3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, 1 tablespoon lemon juice (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir until combined.

5. Carefully pour the mixture into the molds using a dropper or small cup. Pop any bubbles with a toothpick.

6. Transfer the molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, until fully set.

7. Remove gummies from the molds and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

For vegan gummies, substitute agar-agar powder for gelatin and follow package directions.

Use any 100% fruit juice you love—try mixing for unique flavors and colors!

Gummies keep best in the fridge and are perfect for party favors, snacks, or adding to yogurt parfaits.
