Ingredients

2 slices bread

1 medium ripe banana

2 slices mozzarella cheese or 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

1 tablespoon butter

1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)

1 teaspoon brown sugar (optional)

Instructions

1. Slice the banana into 1/4-inch rounds.

2. Lay out bread slices. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice.

3. Place the bread buttered side down. Add a slice of mozzarella (or half of shredded cheese) to each piece.

4. Layer banana slices evenly over one slice of cheese.

6. Top with remaining cheese and close with the second bread slice, buttered side out.
