Description
These Maple Glazed Chicken Thighs are a quick dinner packed with sweet and savory flavor, featuring juicy chicken baked in a sticky maple Dijon glaze that makes this easy recipe one of my favorite dinner ideas for busy nights. If you need simple food ideas that feel comforting and impressive at the same time, this dish is a perfect choice for an easy dinner the whole family will love.
Ingredients
6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
2. Season the chicken on both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil.
4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and place the chicken thighs skin side down. Sear for 5 to 7 minutes until the skin is golden and some fat has rendered.
5. Flip the chicken thighs and pour the maple glaze over and around them.
6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F internally.
7. Spoon the glaze over the chicken before serving and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Do not skip patting the chicken dry before seasoning, because excess moisture keeps the skin from browning properly and can thin out the glaze.
