Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix

6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped

2 tablespoons green onions, chopped

1 small jalapeño, finely diced (optional)

crackers or sliced baguette, for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate or similar baking dish.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and creamy.

3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and ranch seasoning mix until well combined.

4. Add 5 slices of chopped bacon and the diced jalapeño (if using), mixing gently.

5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

6. Bake for 20-22 minutes, until hot and bubbly around the edges.

7. Remove from oven. Top with the remaining 1 slice of chopped bacon and chopped green onions.

8. Serve immediately with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

For best results, let the cream cheese come to room temperature before mixing.

Make ahead: Mix the dip (without baking) up to 2 days in advance. Refrigerate, then bake right before serving.

To adjust spice: Add or omit jalapeño as desired, or sprinkle in a pinch of cayenne for extra heat.
